Merced High Library Menu of Services

The Merced High School Library provides access to books, electronic resources, study spaces, and a variety of services that support student achievement.

  • Tech Tools for the classroom -individual lessons for teachers on tech tips to incorporate in your class including:
    • Flipgrid, Edpuzzle, Adobe Spark, Hyperdocs/Slides, Infographics, and so much more....

  • Research Lessons (how to use and search online sources correctly, creating citations, good research practices)
  • Project Collections (collection of resources to support a curriculum unit -via website or materials in house)
  • Information Literacy Lessons (avoiding plagiarism, identifying "fake news" and evaluating sources, digital citizenship)

Battle of the Books (2019-2020)

Congratulations to the MHS Book Club who took the trophy at Battle of the Books 2018!

Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading program sponsored by the MUHSD libraries. Students from high schools in the district and nearby counties read award-winning literature and compete in teams at an annual competition. We invite all MHS bibliophiles to come join the fun!

Historic El Rodeo Yearbooks Available Online


The Merced High School Library is digitizing texts from our archive of historical El Rodeo yearbooks. Dating back as far as 1919, these books are frequently requested by members of the community and will now be available online.
