In the latest episode of "Impact," we are joined by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond. He talked about the vitalrole that schools play in student mental health. In addition, he discusses how his office and the state are planning to provide California schools with more resources.

"MUHSD Live!" This Week

Our guests this week on "MUHSD Live!" were Merced High history teacher Jacob Meneley and student Kate Samuleson. Kate was one of only ten students nationwide selected as winners of the "Hamilton Education Program Online" contest. Kate will now be flown out to New York City next week, along with Mr. Meneley, to watch "Hamilton" on Broadway and attend a private Q&A session with the cast afterward.
