Physical Education

Mission

Merced High School physical education department believes that physical education should consist of a well-rounded and wide variety of team and individual sports. It is designed to stimulate the mental, emotional and social aspect of the individual.

NOTE: Students who are unable to participate in PE due to a medical condition lasting more than 3 days must report directly to Room 100 to complete an alternate assignment. This assignment will be health related and will provide the student an opportunity to earn participation points.
**If a student misses the mile run while excused from PE, he/she may need to make up the run. Please inquire with the student's teacher.**
